I do not regret a minute's effort expended doing this. That book is almost standalone, aside from a few scenes dealing with the fallout of events in 'Tinker'. Westerby, "the honorable schoolboy", finds a tangled plot in the Far East, set against the dying days of the Vietnam War. His big achievement is the Hunt for Karla series: "Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy", "The Honorable Schoolboy" and "Smiley's People".
